On 05 April 2018, the post of Gram Sevak was changed to Village Development Officer by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Rajasthan, Government of Rajasthan. While the grade pay is 2400 (Level-6). The grade pay of ANM (Women Health Worker) in the same Gram Panchayat is 2800 (Level-8). LHV's (Level-9). Appointment to the ANM/LHV Nursing Cadre is based on full length of service and not on additional special qualification and with additional special qualification and medically competent.
